conditions so the very fabric of the building is designed to reduce
energy consumption. For example, at one of our developments we
are required to source at least 50 per cent of timber through the
Forest Stewardship Council and Programme for the Endorsement
of Forest Certification schemes. To off-set carbon production, we’ve
also combined high performance building fabric with renewable
energy sources such as photovoltaic panels which generate electricity
from solar energy. These panels are placed on a flat roof, providing
